A bonsai is never &#8216;finished&#8217; &#8211; it changes with the seasons and matures and improves with the passing years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The two syllables of the Japanese word &#8216;Bonsai&#8217; literally are translated as &#8216;a tree in a pot&#8217;. They are miniaturised trees, grown in shallow pots, which have been trained to enhance their shape. They are easy to grow providing they have good natural light an plenty of fresh air.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">A bonsai in not naturally a dwarfed variety. Its growth is not restricted by confining its roots in a pot, but by constant clipping and trimming.
