Valibo Nurseries is situated in the picturesque city of Albury, the gateway to the Upper Murray and Snowy Mountains. We can be found at 534 Urana Road Lavington, in the northern suburb of Lavington.<\/p>\n
Valibo Nurseries was established in 1964 and has been a family business ever since, following in the tradition set by the van Lint family in the Netherlands six generations ago. The nursery was initially established as a general retail business, with additional focus on landscape and garden design in the early years.<\/p>\n
During the past 40 years a deep interest in Bonsai has been developed and we now have a collection of specimens making up our impressive permanent display, one of the largest Bonsai collections in Australia outside of capital cities. <\/p>\n
The general nursery closed on retirement in 2014 with the Bonsai collection still open to the public. We are able to assist those who are interested in starting or maintaining a collection with starter plants and advanced Bonsai available. Beginner to advanced workshops run through the winter months. <\/p>\n
A charity event, ‘Bonsai Under Lights’ is held each Autumn where the collection in full Autumnal colours is open to the public. <\/p>\n
